Rahul Kedar claims to have helped numerous individuals suffering from various afflictions. One notable case is of a cancer patient from Nagtala Village. After completing five visits, the patient sought treatment at a local hospital and reportedly showed significant improvement.
Another remarkable story involves a six-year-old girl from Mumbai, whose family believed she was possessed by a malevolent spirit. According to the healer, the girl exhibited violent tendencies on Amavasya (new moon) and Poornima (full moon), possibly linked to an incident in the building they lived in, where a young boy had committed suicide during its construction. After five visits, the healer claims the girl’s condition improved, and she was able to lead a normal life.
The healer performs specific rituals, such as burning Kapoor (camphor) on the hands of women and waving a stick to direct spiritual energy. His workspace is a dimly lit room adorned with images of various deities, a scary doll, and other ritualistic items, creating an atmosphere steeped in mysticism.
He also mentioned practicing Shabri Vidya, a form of spiritual knowledge, and claims he can summon his possession at will if learned further. Despite having no family history of spiritual possession, he believes his abilities are divinely bestowed.
The healer is married but admits that his personal life is often disrupted due to the demands of his calling. Trained in electronics from an ITI in Ahmednagar, now Ahilya Nagar, he once aspired to open a shop. However, his current role leaves him with no time for future planning. “I do this because I was once in need, and someone helped me. I know the pain,” he explains. He believes in continuing his practice as long as it benefits people but is prepared to stop if it no longer serves its purpose.
The healer credits his abilities to the guidance of his gurus, one of whom is a 72-year-old spiritual master who began his journey at the age of 12. Inspired by their teachings, he has taken on 16 disciples of his own, ensuring that the knowledge and practices are passed on to the next generation.
In Place B, this young healer represents a blend of faith, spirituality, and resilience. While skeptics may question his methods, he has helped speak volumes about his impact. Whether viewed as a spiritual savior or a compassionate human being, his story is one of transformation, driven by a desire to alleviate the suffering of others.
